Question by : Would you consider using hair loss treatments?
I have a friend that is 29 and slowly losing his hair. Right now it is long and he is afraid to cut it because it might show more that he is losing his hair. This is genetic and can not do much about it. Would you suggest him to cut it and start using hair loss treatments such as Rogaine? I don’t know much about hair loss treatments and would love get an opinion or review about them from you.

It depends on how you think you see yourself. As a furry, bad-tempered rug like Chewbacca or as a handsome, virile, charismatic leader like Jean Luc Picard.

I don’t think so, exercising makes your hair grow faster as it increases blood flow which simulates hair growth from the scalp.

Question by katezambelli: Has anyone else had a problem of hair loss after pregnancy? What do to in this case?
I am now 15 weeks post partum after delivering my baby in March. Since the past 5 weeks I have been having hair loss. When I wash my hair, I usually get a rope of hair falling in the tub, and when I comb it, I get a few rope strands. Is this normal after pregnancy, has anyone else had this problem. I have heard it’s something to do with the hormones getting back to their old self. Anyone have any advice for what you did, or how long it took for the shedding to stop? I have long hair right now about till the middle of my back. This Saturday I am getting them cut to shoulder length to prevent my hair from thinning as a result. Doesn’t this suck?

It happened to me, apparently i read it on the net somewhere coz i too freaked out, your body stops losing hair while you are pregnant and about 3 months after you have had your baby all the excess hair starts coming out. Mine stopped when my baby was about 6 months old.

Our hair is a natural ornaments that we wear on the head. Therefore it must always be kept clean and care to show it off to perfection. There are many ways to curb this problem caused by excessive washing and drying, for cosmetic reasons or underlying disease.
Additionally, be careful if you overdo yourself with hair chemicals. It is believed that hair chemicals which have been applied on your hair may result to hair loss. Addressing your medical issue can spark faster hair growth. Also, discuss hair-growth medications with your doctor.
If you can not stand to look like a lion because the static characteristics of your hair, the better to avoid it is left in place the air conditioner in your hair for at least an hour before rinsing out or using a special anti-freeze mousse, which you can buy at any pharmacy as all companies have a cosmetic hair product for this common problem. The static capillary is caused by lack of moisture in the hair, which usually suffers the people who have dry hair.
Hair loss is what affects you most? Normally, cells of the scalp die and regenerate new daily is how you can have a loss of about 100 hairs, if you notice that your case is not 100 but 500 or more strands, then you have a serious problem.
Aim for a natural formula made from banana or banana mixed with honey, yogurt and skim milk and low in calories. This batter will enrich your hair helping the roots to grow strong and healthy. You can also take dietary supplements that contain vitamin B6, zinc and saw palmetto. Such products are quite useful for people who already tried to extract from the food, all natural sources without benefit. On the other hand, it is good to know that when you’re showering, you must pull your head forward as you apply the shampoo and gently massage the scalp to help stimulate and promote circulation in your head. You can also perform the massage.
Apply rosemary essential oil or rinse tea made from aloe vera to natural hair. It is further recommended the implementation of noni juice directly to the scalp and let dry at room temperature only. If you want a more intense treatment, wrap your hair in a plastic bag for half an hour at least.
